The Great Warming: Climate Change and the Rise and Fall of Civilizations is difficult to place neatly within this project because it is a horizontal history. I have placed it in Europe because much of our knowledge about the Medieval Warm Period comes from there, but the book cuts across most of the globe, from the Americas to China.
